Application
Ceiling vortex diffusers are used in air conditioning, ventilation and heating systems, creating a vortex air supply for good mixing with the room air. The air flow obtained at the outlet of the diffuser allows achieving high ejection values, thereby quickly reducing the flow rate and equalizing the temperature difference between the air and the supply air in the room. Ceiling vortex diffusers are used at high air flow rates with a large temperature difference between the room and supply air from -10°C to +15°C. As a result, air flows are mixed in comfort zones, with good distribution of air jets throughout the room and a small turbulent vortex in the area where people are staying. These diffusers are used in rooms with a ceiling height of 4 meters or more.
The Case is made of aluminum, the inner lamella is galvanized.
How is it adjusted?
Inside the diffuser there are 2 round plates with 45° bent lamellae, one of them is fixed, the other is rotary (adjustable). By changing the position of the adjustable plate, we increase or decrease the cross-section, respectively, in cooling mode the cross-section should be larger so that the air is distributed horizontally, and in heating mode the cross-section should be reduced to convert the air flow into a vertical discharge (warm air is lighter, it should be exposed as far down as possible, reducing the cross-section increases the flow rate and range of the jet). It is possible to install a servo drive for automatic blade adjustment.
