Plate noise absorbers are designed to reduce the aerodynamic noise generated by fans and other elements of the system, which spreads through the air ducts of ventilation systems.

SMN Design

The case of the noise absorber and the frame of the plates are made of galvanized steel.

The plates are filled with non-combustible sound-absorbing material with a coating that prevents particles of material from entering the air duct.

BASIC CONFIGURATION

Recommendations for use

  • To achieve maximum noise absorption efficiency, it is recommended to provide a straight section of at least 1 m before of the noise absorber.
  • The maximum air speed between the plates should not exceed 20 m/s.
  • To reduce noise more effectively, it is recommended to install two absorbers in a row, one after the other.
