The OVFS pressure relief valve is designed to automatically relieve excess pressure from a ventilation system or room, as well as to ensure one-way airflow and prevent backdraft. It is installed on air ducts.
The valve opens or closes depending on the pressure in the ventilation system or room. When excess pressure occurs, the valve blade opens automatically, and excess air is vented from the system. Once the pressure drops, the valve closes automatically.
- The valve is equipped with a counterweight lever, which is used to adjust the operating pressure according to operating conditions. A locking nut allows you to adjust the valve’s closing torque.
- The valve is installed in a vertical position. The permissible deviation from the vertical is ±3°.
- Temperature range of the fluid being conveyed: from −45 °C to +40 °C.
