The filter is a metal cylindrical unit with a cover and bottom, made of carbon steel with a protective powder coating.
The design includes three openings:
- two end openings are intended for air intake;
- one side opening is intended for air outlet.
When not in operation, these openings are hermetically sealed with plugs fitted with sealing gaskets.
The filter is designed for operation in temperate climate conditions (climatic version U, placement category 2 in accordance with GOST 15150).
The internal structure of the unit consists of a central frame (located between the end openings) wrapped with a smoke filter. In addition, a layer of adsorbent is located between two internal cylindrical mesh screens.
This filter is designed to safely supply purified atmospheric air to protective shelters. It provides effective protection against chemical warfare agents and highly toxic substances, radioactive dust, and biological aerosols.
The equipment offers flexible installation options: it can be installed individually, arranged in parallel groups (2–3 units) as part of a common shelter ventilation system, or combined with other filtration and ventilation units.
The filter is capable of stable operation at air temperatures from -50°C to +50°C and relative humidity up to 95%. The ingress of liquid or droplet moisture into the unit is strictly prohibited.
The equipment is available in three sizes depending on the required nominal airflow rate (100, 200, and 300 m³/h), allowing the optimal configuration to be selected for protective shelters of different capacities.
Important!
When selecting the equipment, the corresponding installation kit — «Mounting Parts for the Filter-Absorber» — must also be purchased. The kit configuration is selected according to the installation arrangement and the number of filters installed in a vertical column (hereinafter referred to as the «tower») — 1, 2, or 3 units.
